Become a Volunteer

This form is for volunteers who are NEW to working with us.

WE really NEED volunteers who:

• sign/speak ASL
• know CPR
• are NURSES
• are familiar with FOOD SERVICE
• have CHILDCARE experience

and we LOVE all volunteers!

To clarify about ASL signing:

ALL films are open captioned/subtitled for the Deaf & Hard-of-Hearing.

We are HIRING professional ASL interpreters for all events, including all opening remarks, post-screening talks/filmmaker Q&As, and Community Conversations, they are also on hand for other events and will be available for any and all interpreting needs.

However, we need ASL signing volunteers, just like we need Spanish speaking volunteers. It helps to end social isolation if all other stations have at least 1 person who is available just to talk, not to professionally interpret.
