7th Annual
2011 Queer Women of Color Film Festival

All film screenings of the 2011 Queer Women of Color Film Festival are free of charge and do not require tickets. The festival is very popular and seats fill VERY fast - please read the seating policy below and plan to arrive early to ensure that you get in!

After parties raise money for QWOCMAP - tickets can be purchased at the door at the respective venues.

The Queer Women of Color Film Festival is FREE and our screenings are always full.

To better accommodate our audiences, we have developed the following seating policies.

  • We set aside seats for those with mobility issues.

  • Seating is first come, first served. Please arrive early to ensure seating!

  • Doors open an hour before each screening and performance.

  • If it is a full house, all saved seats will be released 15 minutes before the screening begins.

  • We have a very tight turnaround this year. Please note that we will have to clear the theater in-between screenings, so as to better accomodate all of our enthusiastic audience members.

Audience members, please note:

We are committed to disability justice and serving audience members who are disabled and those who have mobility issues. If you cannot stand or wait in line, please speak with our Security Crew, who will invite you to sit in the lobby.

If you wish to be seated in the section for those of us with environmental illness, please notify the Ushers, who will be happy to seat you in our Scent-Free Section.

Those with service animals will be seated in a different section.

If you are in a wheelchair and would like to be seated with your party right away, please speak with the Security Crew or Ushers. You will be directed to the Brava House Manager.

Please help us to serve you better by communicating your needs to our Festival Team members and Security Crew.

The Brava Theater is wheelchair accessible for audiences. There are no stairs required to enter the building, the lobby or restrooms. The theater can be accessed from the ground floor, or via elevator.
