QWOCMAP continues to provide leadership and prominence in its role as a catalyst for changing the not-so-diverse filmmaking landscape by presenting the panel "Reels of Resistance: Film IS Social Justice Activism for Communities of Color" along with a program of QWOCMAP films. Witness and engage in the conversations as we weave galvanizing films with historical and contemporary examples of how art is activism for communities of color.

Spreading the love to Santa Cruz, check out the 14th annual Women of Color Film & Video Festival which will feature works by QWOCMAP filmmakers including Jolie Harris, Monica Enriquez, Vanessa Huang, Yaya Raiz, Maya Santos, Mary Ann Brooks, Kimberly Alvarenga, Rachel Poulain, Vassilisa Johri and Kiki Zerrudo.
